On October 18, 2009, everyone at Neighborhood Bible Church was given an amount of money with a challenge: use it for God's glory! Here's some info that came with the money...
OBSERVATIONS:
- $$ for this NOT from offering or church budget...DONATED for this specific project
- 3rd grade through adults...different amounts (different gifts)...you only receive
RULES:
- Can't give it back to the church
- Can't use it to serve immediate family or self
- Christ honoring ('cup of cold water given in the name of Christ') see Mark 9
GUIDELINES: not required but STRONGLY encouraged
- Report back what happened (what did God do in you and others?)
- No cash (dream a little here)
- Be Spirit-led (God is creator NOT copier)
We cannot BE the Church (collectively) where you can BE the church (individually)
