New? Here's a little about us...

Welcome to the NBC website!

If you're new to the area and looking for a church, or you're wanting to start going to church again, or you're checking out church for the first time, read on to find out a little bit about us and what to expect on Sundays.

We worship.

God is the author of all good things. He has offered us life in a way we never could have come up with on our own. He is ready to give a new life to us. All we have to do is receive it. To realize His way is infinitely better than our own.

We would love to meet you wherever you are on your spiritual journey. The best thing we can offer you is a clear, real picture of who Jesus is and why we follow Him. Each one of us has our own spiritual journey we are continuing on. At NBC, we like to say, "Come as you are, but don't stay that way!"

We live in community.

This life was never meant to be lived alone. We need others. And so we live together. We share our joys and our struggles alike. We care for each other. We pray for each other. We celebrate with each other. We want to welcome you in to our community.

We share.

What we have is not ours. We are merely caretakers of all we have. So we use what we have for the good of others. This includes our finances, our possessions, our talents, and our time. We want to share with you and want to help you share with others.

What to Expect

When you first walk up to Neighborhood Bible Church on a Sunday morning, you should see people (comfortably dressed) catching up with each other. Grab a name tag, a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, a tasty treat, and join in the conversation!

When you walk in, you will be greeted warmly. You will have the opportunity to get your kids securely checked in for our age-appropriate classes. Once you've taken your infants and preschool kids to their classes, you and your elementary-aged kids will head in to the sanctuary. We dismiss our elementary-aged kids after a few songs of worship.

Our services will have live, modern worship with a full band, scriptural teaching, and will often include other elements such as testimonies, communion (usually on the 3rd Sunday of the month), baptisms, and announcements. They last about 1 hour and 15 minutes, but the conversation continues face-to-face right after and on The City every day of the week!
