students today are pulled in many different directions - by the media, by friends, by pop culture, by family lifestyles, by sports, by education, by so many other things.  what they decide to follow can eventually become their identity and form their belief structure for the rest of their lives.

the following shows students that there is a different direction for them - a direction against the flow.  at the following, each student will see what a lifestyle of following Jesus is all about and why it works.  there will be an opportunity for them to see others following, to learn how to follow, and to do some following of their own.

the following is a part of Neighborhood Bible Church, and thus the focuses of the following are the same as those of NBC.  the three focuses of the following are:

worship - all who come to the following will see worship as a lifestyle in the examples of the leaders and will learn how to live their own life of worship.

community - just as it is with NBC, the following will have community groups as the central midweek meeting point.  they will experience community every time we meet, learning to share life together and to grow with and through each other.

share - Jesus spent his life serving, and so will all who come to the following. they will get opportunities to serve in their local communities and around the world, and they will learn to share God's love with their family, their friends, and many others.
