Hometown: both California natives, but we've lived all over, including France and Kenya

Family: we have three daughters

How did you come to NBC? We moved to the area around the same time NBC started, and a friend recommended it.

What is your role at NBC? We're the Community Group Directors, we lead the Young Marrieds CG, and we teach Sunday School occasionally.

What is the best part about your role? We're passionate about creating authentic community; this role allows us to use our experiences as teachers in a way that supports that goal.

What is your favorite Bible passage? Why? Isaiah 40:28-31. It includes God's power, His faithfulness, and the hope that He gives us. And we have a lot of experience with waiting.

If you were an animal, what would you be? Why? Audrey: a lion because they're awesome. Who isn't afraid of a lion?  Kirk: a cheetah because they're cool.

What is your favorite coffee drink? Yes please.

What is your favorite place on the earth? It's a tie between Paris and the Maasai Mara.

What makes you laugh? Our children.

What makes you cry? See above. Also, injustice, especially toward the weak, hatefulness, and apathy.

What is your favorite television show? Why? The West Wing because it's smart, optimistic, politically astute, and witty.

What is your favorite pastime? Being together as a family, trying new things and traveling.
