An Encouragement | Una palabra de Aliento

Psalm 24

This week, let’s rest on God’s word. Less of us and more of Him. Psalm 24 has been a giant encouragement to me as I have walked through some stressful times.
This Psalm reminds me that no matter what is happening around me, God still is in control. The earth, and everything in it (people, nature, animals, world events), are under the sovereignty of God.

It is an encouragement of the kind of person I should be, by the grace and power of God.
And it is a declaration of the power of the King we serve, the only one who should receive all of our praise.
Take the time to read this Psalm a few times. I hope you will be refreshed, reminded, and encouraged as you do.

Psalm 24:
The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof,
the world and those who dwell therein,
for he has founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the rivers.
Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord?
And who shall stand in his holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to what is false
and does not swear deceitfully.
He will receive blessing from the Lord
and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah
Lift up your heads, O gates!
And be lifted up, O ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord, strong and mighty,
the Lord, mighty in battle!
Lift up your heads, O gates!
And lift them up, O ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
10 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory! Selah

Salmo 24

el mundo y cuantos lo habitan;
5 Quien es así recibe bendiciones del Señor;
Selah
7 Eleven, puertas, sus dinteles;
9 Eleven, puertas, sus dinteles;
Es el SeñorTodopoderoso;
¡él es el Rey de la gloria! Selah
