Questions for the Community

Personal Reflection  

1. Take inventory of what or who you are devoted to right now. Go deeper than one word answers here…invite the Spirit to examine you. Tools to help might be a spending report, calendar app or reviewing your journal. 
2. What are you experiencing as we drive toward getting or keeping in community through groups? Is there excitement, hope or possibility? Is there anxiety, dread or fear? Bring this all to the Lord who loves you and will help you walk as you ought.

3. What did you learn about God or yourself on Sunday? Come ready to share how God was growing you.
4. Read Acts 2:42-47 and 6:4 out loud. What is going on and what does it mean for churches today? 
5. Romans 12:9-21 speaks to the “real over idea” part of our theme this year. Open to that passage and take stock of what you are called to devote yourself to and correct your thinking around what community in the church is striving for (This is a good time to stop and pray as a group- use this open passage as an “aspirational prayer list”).

6. Take time as a group to discuss what you are hoping for and shooting for (if you’ve not done this yet or in a while). Get clear on expectations and flows of communication. Name who is on for what so that no one person takes on all the roles in a group. 
7. How can the health of CG’s help or hurt our church as a whole? What results do you hope to see in this season?
