The cross of Christ solves our competing ideas:

1. In a proud world, the cross shows us that humble service is BEST

2. In a get(x3) to be happy world, the cross shows us  give(x3) joy

3. In a Jesus is one of many good options world, the cross shows us he’s the only option

4. Review the 3 main ideas from Sunday. Which hits you most right now? 
5. Do you find it challenging to avoid rivalry and to put the needs of others ahead of your own? How would your church be different if everyone faithfully lived out Philippians 2:3–4?
6. How can we help each other adore Christ and grow in Godly sensitivities?

7. Pray for hunger and insight regarding Jesus. Ask God to grow your heart for the things that matter most to him.
8. Take time this week to slowly think and pray through this passage. What is God speaking to your heart and mind?
9. Bring specific people or instances that are hardest for you to obey this passage of humble service. Confess the sin and choose to walk in obedience. Keep coming back to Jesus as our example and power to overcome pride.
