Questions for the Community

Devoted to Learning

  1. Think back over the sermon and Scriptures. What is staying with you? Share one thing you are excited by, confused about or wanting to know more about.
  2. Review the 3 “prayer feels like ___” and the Scripture for each. Pick the one that God is most stirring in you. What is he teaching you? How is he leading you in this? Study other verses that expand on what you are learning.
  3. Review all of the ways our prayers are HINDERED or HELPED. The Bible says a LOT on this. What impact does this have on the life of the Christian?

Devoted to one another

  1. How have you been taught to pray? Was it mostly by observing or has there been teaching as well. Has anyone mentored you in prayer?
  2. What other “prayer feels like” would you add? Like the Psalms teach us…be raw and real here. We don’t need to hide.
  3. Praying for others is a significant act of genuine love. Each week, our CG’s get to be a greenhouse of growth in this area. Spend time right now sharing how you need prayer
