Questions for the Community
Personal Reflection:

1.  What is wrong with the world? Who is to blame? How do we fix it? Form your own responses to these questions. How do others think about such things?
2.  How does Jesus’ vision of the “Kingdom of God” (see parables and sermons in the gospels) relate to the current conversation around “social justice”?

Group Discussion
3.  What emotions stir up in you when you hear the term “social justice”? Why is this such an explosive pairing of words right now?
4.  Read 1 Thess. 5:21-22 How can this be applied to the wide topic of “social justice”?
5.  At NBC, “Share” means evangelism and being a generous steward of all God has entrusted us. Dream up how it looks when word and deed sync up and demonstrate the God who loves sacrificially. (John 15:13; Eph. 5:2; Romans 6:13)
6.  Even Jesus didn’t do it all! Since Jesus left people UNhealed and needs UNmet what does this model for us?

Plan of Action
7.  Do you know what is in your “sphere of care” (think arms around a beachball)? What is able to fit in your hands at this moment? Are you saying no to many things so you can say a resounding yes to the right things? What does your yes look like?
8.  Your church is committed to vulnerable children and living as family across the Spanish & English divide. Do you have a clear way to pull in those directions? If so PRESS ON! If not, reach out to your CG leader for ways to start.
