Psalms: Smitten

smitten-very much in love; affected; crazy

It's the summer to fall in love, perhaps all over again or for the very first time. We know that God is love, but often get nervous thinking of Him as lover. Yet this is how He reveals Himself to us. To know God is to love God, so we are searching through the Psalms right now uncovering a lover who is near yet altogether different, beautiful but mysterious honest, powerful, wise, mysterious, jealous and quite simply hard to define.

2 Corinthians 5:14 "For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died;"

Join to hunt for the nature of this lover who is teaching and leading us in love. What does it mean for the love of Christ to control you? How would your life be different if you were absolutely smitten with God? We are getting the sense that true love really CAN create a revolution! You're invited in to this wild ride. The conversation continues each Sunday at 10:30 and goes on throughout the week in Community Groups around the neighborhood.
